Enrollment FAQs

Enrollment, tuition, hours, and licensing, answered.

Tuition depends on your child's age and program, so we don't list one flat rate, we walk you through it personally. The best first step is to schedule a tour: you'll see the space, meet us, and leave with pricing and current openings for your child's age group. Call your nearest campus or request a tour to get started.

Our Curriculum

Frog Street, layered with Montana Early Learning Standards

Our foundation is the Frog Street Curriculum, a nationally recognized, research-based, play-based early childhood program. We weave it together with the Montana Early Learning Standards to support the whole child: social-emotional, language, literacy, math, and motor development. Learning is individualized, so each child is met exactly where they are and gently challenged from there.

Children learn by doing. Screen time stays under 5% of the day across our programs, and some programs are entirely screen-free. Days are built around building, reading, creating, moving, and playing together.

Financial Assistance

We accept the following, so quality care stays within reach for working families:

  • Best Beginnings Scholarship, for early childhood programs at the Ramshorn and Highway 312 locations
  • Child Care Protective Services placements
  • VA vouchers
  • Parent flex / dependent-care account payments
  • 5% discount for military, veterans, and first responders
Certifications & Licensing

Trained, credentialed, and accountable

Our Ramshorn and Highway 312 locations are State of Montana-licensed childcare centers. Our Laurel school-age (1st Street) program operates as an unlicensed school-age program, as allowed for that age group.

All teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid and pursue ongoing professional development. The Sunshine Academy is also a sponsor of the Montana childcare apprenticeship program, mentoring new educators in partnership with the Department of Labor.
